Known for its sweeping beaches, great surf, kite flying, and sailing, as well as nearby migratory birds and endangered sea turtles, the unofficial capital of the Texas Gulf Coast is loved by its many visitors. With true South Texas hospitality, you’ll also find some equally special places to stay. So from luxurious hotels on the bay to cute boutique hideaways on Mustang Island, here are my favorite cool and trendy hotels in Corpus Christi, Texas…
Omni Corpus Christi Hotel
One of my favorite places to stay is the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel. From the moment I arrived in the vibrant Marina District, I knew this upscale retreat was something special. With 475 rooms and suites, this place is all about luxury and attention to detail.
I loved sinking into the premium bedding – those Egyptian cotton sheets made every night’s sleep unbelievably comfortable. Wet bars, bay-view balconies, coffee makers – they had it all. Plus, the complimentary toiletries were a nice touch.
The dining options here were a delight. I highly suggest trying the Republic of Texas Bar and Grill, Glass Pavilion Restaurant, and the Topsider Lounge. Each one served up flavors that danced on my taste buds. And if you’re up for a beauty treat, the luxury salon was top-notch. They took care of everything, leaving me feeling pampered.
For a tranquil moment, Morsel’s cafe was a gem. I spent some peaceful hours there, enjoying their refreshing drinks and snacks. And let’s talk activities! The racquetball courts were a blast.
