The HEY HOTEL
While visiting Interlaken, The Hey became my unconventional choice, and I couldn’t help but admire its beauty and splendor. It inspired an alpine state of mind, offering a variety of experiences.
One of my favorite places in town, it’s a picturesque meeting spot with a cozy lounge corner where I could linger and mingle with like-minded travelers.
While at The Hey, I experienced the joy of embracing the open air. The epic terrace bar, with its candle-lit charm, served top-of-the-range delicacies, making my evenings genuinely memorable.
The hotel encouraged me to explore the surroundings, surrounded by attractive shops, boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. Taking a peaceful stroll around the property, I discovered an eclectic array of options that catered to solo travelers, couples, and families alike.

While visiting this enchanting place, I loved the way it maintains the grandeur of its mid-1800s roots. The dome-topped Belle Époque masterpiece is a sight to behold with its palatial chandelier-lit interiors, imaginative five-star dining, and sheer luxury throughout.
During my stay at this splendid hotel, I experienced a graceful transition into the 21st century. The Victoria Jungfrau welcomed me into a central atrium, and the corridors guided me to peaceful salons and an opulent Versailles-inspired banquet hall.
The guestrooms, adorned with luxurious fabrics, antique furnishings, and parquet floors, truly captivated me. They were designed exquisitely to champion the property’s unique charm.
Victoria’s pride and joy is its 5500 square-meter spa. While there, I tried the vaulted, skylit indoor swimming pool, which complements a stunning garden terrace. It was perfect for gazing up at the vertical peaks.

One of my favorite places, Hotel Royal St Georges, nestled against the panoramic alpine backdrop of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau mountains, offers a refined sense of relaxation through historic charm and modern comfort.
While visiting, I fell in love with this hotel for its supreme location between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, making it a perfect choice for nature lovers like me. Upon my arrival, I couldn’t help but marvel at the historic façade dating back to 1908, which immediately set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
As I stepped inside, I was greeted by an impressive staircase that led me into the large ballroom, beautifully dressed in an Art Nouveau style. The hazy lighting system and the delightful scent of alpine flowers created an enchanting atmosphere, filling the air with romance. And the cherry on top was the breathtaking views that awaited me on the charming garden terrace.

SALZANO Hotel
Salzano Hotel in the Bernese Oberland is one of my favorite places. While staying there, I fell in love with the unique mountain views and the serene lakes.
The boutique ambiance at Salzano Hotel was inviting and set the mood for a luxurious experience. The rooms, furnished with wood and warm colors, had private balconies with Eiger north-face views.
I experienced the rejuvenating spa, which offers alpine products and exclusive facilities like a Brechel bath, adventure steam bath, Swiss Pino bio sauna, and old wood sauna. My stay was truly unforgettable.

While at Hotel Interlaken, I was transported to the 1400s. Its storied past shapes its elegant character, harmonizing centuries-old traditions with modern decor.
The diversity of rooms allowed me to customize my stay. Dining at ‘Taverne,’ the on-site restaurant, was a memorable experience with contemporary Swiss cuisine and a vast wine selection.
The charming, family-oriented staff added to the extravagance, making me feel at home while exploring this vibrant mountain town. Hotel Interlaken is where history meets modern comfort, and I was lucky to experience it.

I found another riverside gem during my stay in Interlaken, just a short walk from Lake Brienz and the town center.
This place was designed as an opulent refuge for travelers like me. I truly appreciated the state-of-the-art comforts and plush amenities in the guestroom, which offered breathtaking mountain and river views.
What I loved most was that many rooms had private balconies, where I could enjoy first-rate room service against the stunning, Instagram-worthy backdrop. Alternatively, I could head down to the on-site restaurant ‘La Rivière,’ which offered a comprehensive range of organic dishes alongside traditional Swiss and Mediterranean cuisine. This was another wonderful experience that added to my memorable stay in Interlaken.

This beautiful Interlaken haven is a graceful home away from home for both business travelers and holidaymakers. I appreciated the tech-forward initiatives and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. While the property is surrounded by tranquillity, a quick 5-minute walk led me directly into Interlaken’s vibrant center, offering the best of both worlds. Boutique Hotel Bellevue honestly had it all.

While in the Jungfrau region of Interlaken, I discovered a 160-year-old gem run by the Klopfer family. This place warmly welcomes you in a sparsely populated residential district.
The guestrooms, with their rustic decor, exude a charming Swiss chalet ambiance. The wooden-clad walls and floor-to-ceiling windows added to the cozy feel. After a memorable day in the mountains, I could indulge in the on-site sauna, the perfect way to unwind before enjoying a peaceful night’s sleep.
One convenient feature was the ski bus that stopped right outside the property. It made getting to the stunning snow-capped peaks hassle-free and added to the overall charm of my experience at this establishment.

The River Village
The River Village, nestled between the lake and mountains on the Aire River’s banks, was a serene paradise for my romantic retreat.
The rooms, with their minimalist design, provided a peaceful spot to unwind. The plush linens and functional decor added to the overall comfort, all while framing stunning views of the surrounding greenery.
Despite the property’s tranquility, I could enjoy a vibrant atmosphere in the on-site eatery, savoring delicious dinners. From the moment I arrived, the charming chalet-style exterior set the tone, perfectly reflecting the lively mountain backdrop. The River Village was an ideal setting for a romantic escape.

Swiss Inn & Apartments, initially built in 1906, was my home away from home during my stay in Interlaken. Nestled in a leafy residential area, it was just a 3-minute walk from the charming center and the West train station.
This lovely property offered five double rooms and six self-catering apartments. The state-of-the-art amenities and plush linens made it feel just like home.
One of the highlights of my stay was the chance to learn about the local area and book excursions. The host family was incredibly helpful in drafting up my idyllic itinerary, making my trip stress-free.
During my downtime, I enjoyed the rustic charm of the lush, manicured garden or strolled around the peaceful surroundings. Swiss Inn & Apartments truly made my stay in Interlaken a delightful and comfortable experience.
