Casa Elevar at Orchid
Casa Elevar is truly one of my favourite places. Its perch atop a majestic escarpment offers a breathtaking view of the azure ocean, wrapped in sheer luxury from top to bottom.
While visiting, evenings were enchanting. The expansive wooden terrace became my haven, allowing me to witness the most mesmerizing sunsets painting the horizon.
I love this place for its sparkling turquoise pool, the palm-fringed dining area, and the lavishly designed guestrooms—all meticulously crafted to merge comfort with beauty, setting the perfect stage for a romantic getaway.
But what truly stood out was the exceptional staff. They not only ensured my comfort but also assisted in curating unforgettable itineraries. They helped plan once-in-a-lifetime snorkelling excursions in the nearby waters, adding an extra touch of magic to my stay.

Nestled in one of my favourite places, Puerto Vallarta, I found this graceful boutique. It perfectly blends nature and comfort in a prestigious residential neighbourhood.
The interiors beautifully mix quirky artwork with traditional elements, creating an elegant atmosphere. I love how the pool, surrounded by plants, offers a serene escape, complemented by shaded seating areas where I enjoyed sipping on delightful homemade coffee.
Café San Trópico, the on-site eatery, became my go-to spot. Locals and passers-by frequent it for its exceptional plant-based menus and expertly crafted drinks.
Retreating to my room after a day in the sun was a treat. The modern amenities ensured I was pampered in luxury throughout my stay.

Nestled in a pristine beachfront setting, the Krystal brand’s cheerful and classy vibe welcomed me with rustling palms and sparkling pools – truly one of my favourite places to unwind.
Exploring the grounds, I discovered a brand-new, top-notch kids club, elegant lounges, a graceful cafeteria, and a lively lobby bar. As for dining, the 9 gastronomic options tantalized my taste buds.
The luxurious suites exuded a timeless Mexican charm, cocooned within lush greenery and designed for pure relaxation. The views from my private terrace were breathtaking, whether soaking up the sun on the charming wooden deck or strolling through the lush resort grounds.

At Villa Lala, I found an oasis for reconnection nestled along Puerto Vallarta’s southern coast—a breathtaking natural setting.
The expansive green spaces seamlessly merged with the lush surroundings, creating a mesmerizing sight visible from the dazzling infinity pool. Exploring the nearby mountains on long hikes and gliding across the bay in a kayak became cherished moments for me.
Choosing the Tree Love Nest amplified my experience, perched atop a rich tropical canopy, accessed by climbing a suspended wooden staircase adorned with handrails crafted from local elements.
The room’s stone-carved washbasins, captivating artwork, and vibrant tropical tones evoked a rustic jungle ambience, immersing my stay.
My personal favorite? Gliding across the bay in a kayak amid breathtaking natural elements.

I adore the blend of authentic Mexican architecture and a prime downtown spot in the Zona Romantica. Posada De Roger, a charming boutique hotel, brings a delightful and elegant family atmosphere to my Puerto Vallarta escapade.
The vibrant mosaic tiles, tropical-inspired decorations, and elegant rattan furniture create a stunning interior. The pool area, surrounded by blue and white striped loungers, became my serene sanctuary.
Posada De Roger holds a special place as one of the first hotels in the neighbourhood. Despite its expansion and modernization, it has retained its heartfelt colonial allure. Every room captivated me with traditional Mexican decor and a striking style, showcasing vivid artwork and bursts of lively colours.

Staying at this Mexican Bed & Breakfast villa was an unforgettable journey back in time. Nestled by the Rio Cuale River, it blended the charm of old Puerto Vallarta with breathtaking architecture, creating a lavish setting for an immersive stay.
The emerald pool, surrounded by lush jungle vistas, offered a refreshing retreat. And the Greek oyster alabaster spa was bliss, transporting me far from the ordinary.
My room was a true masterpiece. Decorated with stunning black ribbon and chartreuse stripes and adorned with local artisans’ painted cherubs, it was a work of art that I adored.

The suites blend tradition with modernity, boasting lavish linens and cutting-edge amenities beneath ancient vaulted ceilings.
Indulging in live instrumental melodies while relishing delectable Italian and global dishes became one of my favourite pastimes, followed by exploring the extensive wine collection at La Cappella bar.

The blend of Gothic and exotic styles creates an enchanting ambience at this elegant spot. As I wandered the corridors illuminated by candelabras, I discovered cosy guestrooms featuring bed heads made from heavy wood altars.
Exploring further, I stumbled upon the hidden mezzanine pool and encountered angel statues doubling as decorative fountains. The courtyard, aglow with hundreds of candles at night, exuded a captivating romantic atmosphere. Each suite had its unique theme, yet all were adorned with traditional Mexican tapestries and intricate religious art and sculptures.
My highlight was indulging in international cuisine at the on-site restaurant on a terrace offering breathtaking views of Puerto Vallarta and the bay.

I adore Mar Elena! It’s located in Puerto Vallarta’s heart and combines traditional aesthetics with modern comfort.
My highlight was the luxuriant palm-fringed garden, giving off an authentic Mexican vibe. I spent serene moments in the cosy lounge chairs on the soaring rooftop terrace, feeling like royalty.
The attention to detail is impeccable. The intimate living room exudes refined elegance, and the rooms are equipped with modern amenities. Some even have charming seating areas and fully equipped kitchenettes, adding to the allure of this stunning place.
