Beachview Inn and Spa
One of my favorite places, the Beachview Inn and Spa, spoils discerning travelers like me with an all-inclusive experience. While staying at this relaxing retreat, it’s all about sipping rum punch, devouring homemade treats at Java & Juice, and indulging in soothing massages at the onsite spa.
I love this laid-back inn that combines a traditional B&B atmosphere with first-rate amenities and recreational facilities. During my visit, I had everything I needed right on the premises, from beach bikes to chairs, umbrellas, and towels, to make the most of my time on the beach.
The accommodations were strikingly well-maintained, with exceptional cleaning standards and sophisticated interiors. What I truly appreciated was the complimentary breakfast, which is a favorite for many guests, including me. The hosts allowed us to customize our choices and portions as much as we liked, making it a truly personalized experience.

Sunrise Surf
I enjoyed staying at Sunrise Surf, which welcomed ocean lovers like me with open arms. Each day, I started with long runs on the beach, and in the evenings, I cherished watching romantic sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean from the comfort of my sprawling private balcony.
I experienced the delight of this vibrant venue, which is situated just 100 meters from Tybee Island Beach and offers a selection of luxury condos right across the beach.
The furnished accommodations were ideal for independent living, featuring comfortable bedrooms, full kitchens, lounging spaces, private balconies or patios, entertainment systems, and central air conditioning. The bedrooms had room-darkening shades, and the living room had a flat-screen TV, DVD player, movies, and board games.
I couldn’t have asked for a more convenient location, as Sunrise Surf was only one block from the glitzy Main Strip and Main Pier, making it the perfect place to explore Tybee Island.

DeSoto Beach Hotel
Desoto Beach Hotel is undoubtedly one of my favorite places. I love this oceanfront retreat, and my experience while visiting was exceptional. This top-rated hotel has earned its Best Place to Stay title for seven consecutive years, and it’s easy to see why.
While staying at Desoto Beach Hotel, I enjoyed its oceanfront location, resort-like amenities, and luxurious rooms. I could request beach chairs and umbrellas for a perfect day on the beach, and the onsite game room added extra entertainment. The free continental breakfast elevated my staycation experience.
The mid-island location of Desoto Beach Hotel is incredibly convenient. After fun in the sun, I easily explored the historic downtown quarters, Tybee Island Lighthouse Station & Museum, and festival venues. My experience at Desoto Beach Hotel was amazing, and I can’t wait to return for more.

Surf Song Bed & Breakfast
I fell in love with Surf Song, an 1898 historic home turned B&B, oozing character with its Victorian façade and beach-themed interiors.
Staying at this lovingly renovated house, I adored the wrap-around porch, private pool, and beach-proximate, color-coordinated rooms.
The Sand Dollar Room, designed by Jane Coslic, wowed me with its antique charm, sandy hues, polished marbles, and vintage fixtures from the early 20th century. It felt like a step back in time.
The Seashell Room, equally enchanting, boasted sunny butter yellow tones, an antique armoire, seashell bedding, and Italian marble tiles. Each room is a unique work of art. Surf Song is truly special.

Atlantis Inn
Atlantis Inn, a centrally located 1950s gem, is one of my favorite places in Tybee. While visiting, I loved its prime location, just 200 steps from the beach, and its proximity to Tybee’s nightlife, restaurants, and shops.
During my stay at Atlantis Inn, I experienced their 20 stylish suites. They curate a top-notch experience with thoughtful amenities and in-room appliances, and their hospitality made me feel at home.
What’s great about Atlantis is the variety of accommodations. From the Honeymoon Red Room Suite to the lavish Penthouse Suite, they cater to every budget and preference.
While staying at Atlantis Inn, I tried biking and kayaking adventures, perfect for adventurers wanting to connect with locals and out-of-towners. Atlantis offers an authentic Tybee experience and a warm community.

DeSoto Beach Bed and Breakfast
DeSoto Beach Bed and Breakfast became one of my favorite places while visiting. I was drawn in by its beachfront luxury and the warm, home-like atmosphere, along with its indulgent amenities.
During my stay, I fell in love with the variety of oceanfront and oceanview properties they offer. It caters to travelers with different budgets, housing needs, and preferences.
The Grand Deluxe oceanfront suites were among my top choices. It’s different from waking up to a direct view of the Atlantic Ocean. The Hernando Desoto Ocean View Suite, a coveted 2-bedroom unit, offered an elegant and comfortable stay.
What I appreciate about DeSoto Beach Bed and Breakfast is their extensive selection. They have premier ocean, partial, and side view suites, ensuring something for everyone. And if you’re a fan of private garden patios, they have garden suites with charming gardens that provide a serene and beautiful backdrop.

DeSoto Beach Gardens
Desoto Beach Gardens is a true paradise for beach lovers. While staying there, I loved the solitude and exclusive beach access it offered on Tybee Island.
With 37 modern accommodations, it’s a high-end venue featuring contemporary comforts. I enjoyed the 42-inch flat-screen TVs, functional kitchenettes, laundry areas, dining spaces, and sofa beds. The rooms opened into beautiful patios with ocean views and refreshing breezes.

Tybee Island Bed & Breakfast is one of my favorite places. While visiting, I loved this charming spot just a stroll from the beach, with Savannah’s restaurants and historical landmarks 20 minutes away. It’s the perfect blend of coastal serenity and southern heritage.
During my stay, I experienced the unique charm of Tybee Island. The seven guest rooms here are inspired by sea life. Each unit has its unique character, playing up a gorgeous color palette. My favorites were Savannah Beach and Sunset, while Captain’s Quarters is the largest.
All accommodations have air conditioning, cable TV, and ensuite bathrooms. It provided a memorable experience, immersing me in Tybee’s coastal beauty while keeping Savannah’s heritage within reach.

Staying at Hotel Tybee is a privilege for history enthusiasts. This historic venue has a 133-year legacy and offers more than history and Southern hospitality.
During my visit, I experienced the rich history and culture. The 208 guest rooms blend the past and present with modern amenities and upgrades.
I loved the exclusive beach access and the sought-after beachfront and ocean-side rooms with Atlantic Ocean and Tybee Pier views. Private balconies let me immerse in island life. Amenities like tiki bars, pools, and beach rentals made my stay enjoyable. Hotel Tybee offers history, culture, modern comfort, and beachfront bliss.

Admiral’s Inn on Tybee Island
Admiral’s Inn, conveniently located just one block from Tybee Beach, became one of my favorite places during my visit. I love the authentic Southern hospitality and the cozy, home-like atmosphere it offers.
During my stay, I experienced the charm of this inn. It’s not just a place to rest; it’s a welcoming haven. Ideal for solo travelers and family/friends reunions, the inn provides various room options, including two queen bedrooms and a spacious king-bed room.
What I particularly appreciated was that the rooms were designed for comfort and convenience. They are perfect for multiple guests without sacrificing anyone’s comfort or style. The queen room easily accommodates four guests, while the king room is a fantastic family-friendly unit with lovely island views.
The best part is the perfect balance between affordability and luxury. Plus, the inn’s proximity to Tybee’s finest seafood joints and southern-style restaurants made it an even more delightful experience. It truly offers Southern charm, comfort, and accessibility to all the island has to offer.
