Graced by an abundance of greenery, a waterfall-fed infinity pool, and awe-inspiring ocean views, Lesante Blu, Leading Hotels of the World is the perfect destination for a romantic break.
The reception features a water wall, modernist sculptures, and nylon curtains, and is dressed in muted tones to exude a sense of understated luxury.
I thought the hanging egg chairs scattered around the property was a graceful touch, while the expansive L-shaped infinity pool and immaculately manicured lawns beckons guests to a serene moment of relaxation. Some rooms boast private pools or an outdoor whirlpool bath, and others are backdropped by exquisite sea views.
All are graced by an open plan layout and set a classy tone through wood parquet flooring, sheer white walls, and large sofas.

Located only 70 metres from the gorgeous Laganas Beach, GARDELLI RESORT is a vibrant hub of eclecticism graced by ultra-modern boutique décor and a true pampering feel.
Whether you lounge in the backdrop of the ocean by the shimmering pool, indulge in succulent cuisine in the restaurant, or kick back in the decked out communal spaces, your days here will be filled with luxury and charm. One of my favourite moments was kicking back on my large balcony and soaking up the island ambiance.
In the rooms, the commodious seating areas arefestooned in lavish materials, while the marble-clad bathrooms further emanate splendour and sophistication.

The graceful boutique ambiance makes Phoenix Beach Hotel one of my favourite hotels in Zakynthos. Located right on the water’s edge, the hotel’s unique architectural design reflects the personal touch of the host family and exudes total relaxation.
A social atmosphere is set around the seasonal outdoor swimming pool, as well as in the restaurant, bar, shared lounge, and garden. Each unit blends modern hip with traditional splendour and opens onto a charming balcony where you can revel in jaw-dropping Ionian panoramas.
Each morning you can treat your taste buds to a buffet breakfast in an open-air restaurant, and return here in the evening to enjoy delicious Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

At Lesante Cape Resort & Villas, authenticity is at the forefront of everything. The property boasts a privileged location in Akrotiri village – a place of great historic and cultural significance.

Peaceful nature meets jaw-dropping architecture at Zante Maris Suites – Adults Only, a hotel set within spectacular Mediterranean terrain. The pursuit of pleasure and perfection is embraced with the utmost attention here, with each suite representing its own organic universe, replete with running waters, olive trees, and scintillating panoramic views.
Pleasantly tucked away from the crowds, the hotel boasts a laid-back vibe, inviting you to sip a bespoke cocktail by a state-of-the-art infinity pool. Awaken your inner epicurean at the on-site restaurant, where the tastes and textures are inherently linked with the surrounding nature.
My favourite spot of all though was the pool bar, where a chic open-air ambiance was set and the drinks were infused with Mediterranean herbs.

Set in a secluded bay, this luxury boutique hotel offers world-class villas on the beach, all of which come with private seafront pools.
Not only is each unit at Porto Zante Villas And Spa enclosed by lush gardens, but they are also all beautifully decorated with Greek paintings and offer some of the most high-end, exclusive amenities I have ever encountered in a resort.
The Bang & Olufsen Entertainment systems, Christofle Paris cutlery glasses, and complimentary BVLGARI products gave me a sense of splendour throughout my entire visit.
On-site, you can indulge in delicious European and Asian cuisine, pamper the senses in a waterfront spa, and take part in a comprehensive array of family and couples’ activities.

Nestled between Agios Sostis and Keri Lake on the Bay of Laganas, Gloria Maris Hotel Suites and Villa is surrounded by olive groves which set a nature-fuelled atmosphere for your Zakynthos vacation.
The gorgeous backdrop of the Ionian Sea can be relished both from the many open-air hangout spaces, and from the guestrooms which offer glass walls and spacious balconies. In the evening, be sure to head to the on-site Komidoro Restaurant where you can savour local tastes, and then to Tropic’s Beach Bar which awaits you with exotic cocktails on the seafront.
The live Caribbean music at Tropics entertained me until the sun rose majestically over the horizon – A memory that will stay with me forever!

Contessina Hotel is one of the island’s more sociable hotels, with most rooms set around a stunning freshwater pool, and a poolside bar serving crafted beverages until late.
The divinity of Greek gastronomy is embodied beautifully in the Vedema Restaurant, and the 160 units have received a recent head-to-toe revamp to exude modern intimacy and comfort.
The hotel flaunts a first-rate bespoke service, especially in the chic Kamara Spa, where guests are immediately transported away from the business of everyday life and into a serene state of rejuvenation.
A stay here will provide you with warmth and vitality that will leave life-lasting memories.

Surrounded by olive groves, Castelli Hotel greets guests with an old-fashioned charm, embodied straight away by an iron staircase hung with wooden hearts.
Upon entrance I was treated to a bottle of wine, and made to feel at home. As soon as you check in you can browse the souvenirs and locally sourced jewellery in the lobby, or head to the freshwater pool which morphs into a candlelit bar at night.
There’s live music most nights, as well as expert-led activities such as yoga and Pilates, and a blissful garden spa cabana which beckons guests to a serene spot of relaxation. My room came with plenty of modern touches, such as pocket-sprung mattresses, alcove seating areas, and a vivid colour scheme.

Yoma Cove Suites is a place where pampering and opulence go hand in hand, topped with the very best of traditional Greek hospitality.
Located near the mountainous village of Volimes in one of the island’s most impressive spots, my lavish caved suite was bounded by spectacular Mediterranean terrain and the endless blue of the Ionian Sea.
It featured a fully equipped working station set before the most compelling island panoramas. Each morning, you can indulge in a hearty breakfast in the comfort of your own suite, and recline by your private plunge pool as you savour that first coffee.

Taken straight from the pages of a design magazine, Olea All Suite Hotel is an aesthetically inclined oasis set away from the pulsating atmosphere of Zakynthos Town.
The guestrooms, many of which flaunt a private plunge pool, are linked by glittering ponds and command impressive views out across the sea towards Kefalonia.
Swaying rattan lampshades, brushed concrete, tree-strung hammocks, and driftwood draws offer a blend of comfort and extravagance and create a beautiful interior backdrop for that perfect Instagram shot.

Perched on the edge of a golden strip of sand, this luxury all-inclusive resort offers two outdoor pools, and each accommodation at Caravel Suites – Adults Only opens out onto a stunning balcony with astonishing sea or landscape views.
A few steps link the pool terrace to the shore, so it is easy to dip between the two. An ambient lighting system creates a romantic tone on the palm-fringed communal decks, where comfy seating areas and plenty of plants set a soothing atmosphere for those balmy summer nights.
You can indulge in Greek and international dishes throughout the day and light meals and refreshing drinks by the pools.

Here we have an enchanting boutique oasis set in a lush green environment, just 500 metres from the sandy beach of Kalamaki. The NIKON BOUTIQUE HOTEL is blissfully catered to those seeking a warm and elegant hospitality experience, where natural beauty and a friendly vigour take centre stage.
My guestroom was nothing short of spectacular and came with a private pool, and a balcony with sunbeds. From here I spent hours gazing across azure ocean panoramas each morning after I tucked into a delicious Greek breakfast enriched with local ingredients.

I thought this family-owned hotel offered a charming twist on the typical Zakynthos resort, dressed in a bohemian, hip flair which brought a quirky atmosphere to my vacation.
While upholding the comforts of a modern resort, this graceful boutique sets out to express authenticity, simplicity, and the beauty of human connection. All the rooms at Kanela Studios have been handcrafted with love and care, and are imbued with natural materials from the Zakynthian countryside.
Kanela’s little corner café is an idyllic oasis where you can taste a variety of teas and coffees from all over the world, soundtracked by relaxing music. Each week, guests can take part in yoga classes on the beach under the guidance of a trained instructor.
