Pin it Forward – Pinterest UK launch

We’re big fans of Pinterest, and it’s great to hear that they’ve just officially launched here in the UK. You might already be using Pinterest, but if not, it’s a great resource for collecting and organising images of the things you love.

Pinterest allows you to create boards, or areas to collect images, and when you see an image you like on another website, ‘pin’ that image to any of your boards. We use Pinterest to collect images of our travels, places we’d love to visit, and just great photography.

Here is our Travel Goodness board, where we feature some of our photography, and other inspirational pictures from around the world:

Use Pinterest to collect ideas for fashion, beauty, cars, design and more, and re-pin other pins to your boards, follow your favourite pinners, and build your own collection of photography, ideas and inspiration.

If you’re new to Pinterest, sign up and don’t forget to follow us!

We’d also love to recommend another travel blogger, Karen Bryan of Europe a la Carte. Check out her Pinterest boards and be sure to follow a great pinner.

Born in England, with a few family roots from Bavaria, and a heart in Scandinavia I've always been a bit of a restless soul. My first true adventure began as a six month voyage around South East Asia as a fresh faced backpacker and ever since I've lived a semi nomadic existence, clocking up over 40 countries on trips and living in Dublin, South East Asia and Australia. I'm a lover of US Road Trips, deserted beaches bathed in warm glow of a sunset, Cuban mojitos, easy-on-the-eye travel destinations far away from the tourist crowds and all things Scandinavian - from cloudberry liquors to Scandi Noirs. When not wandering the world, you'll find me walking my rescue dog in leafy South West London, strolling around the Brighton Laines on random day trips, hunting for photogenic landscapes or daydreaming about returning to my all time favourite places in the world; Havana, Copenhagen, Italy, Thailand and the frozen landscapes of a wintry Iceland. Love this post, Graham! As an aspiring world traveller myself, I’m totally in awe of your blog and all your boards. Thank you for inspiring me to keep traveling the world and reminding me that there are so many places that need to be visited.

I didn’t know that the UK had to launch a Pinterest site… I thought everyone used pinterest.com regardless of country. Well, I love it.

I started a group board and invited people who live in Italy to join and pin to it http://pinterest.com/tianapix/life-in-italy/ and it has become my most popular board so far.

I once met a woman who said ‘oh my god, i repinned your wedding hair style on my board’. Really small world!

Hey, yep, it’s always been available worldwide, but the Pin It Forward campaign launches the UK-specific features, like English language settings and local UK search content…
