The rooms were spacious and modern, offering that stylish vibe that immediately puts you at ease. Mary Eddy’s Dining Room was a highlight for me—I suggest choosing the breakfast option to indulge in their upgraded take on traditional American cuisine. And let me tell you about the Pool Bar—it’s not just about the pool; it’s a vibrant spot to hang out with friends, sip on lively beverages, and savor some fun cuisine and frozen treats.

If you’re into snacks, the Bodega is a gem—a convenient stop for quick bites and drinks. Plus, they have local beers and wines you shouldn’t miss out on. After a day exploring, the spa and 24-hour fitness centre were my go-to for relaxation. But there’s more than massages; they offer a range of cosmetic treatments for that extra glow.

The amenities here are top-notch, from the free WiFi to the quirky Museum Shop filled with unique finds. And the interiors, designed by Deborah Berke Partners, are simply fabulous.

The various room types at The Ellison, like The Tallgrass, The Roserock Room, and The Swallowtail, offer a unique glimpse into the local aesthetics. Each room is meticulously designed, showcasing Oklahoma’s distinct style and charm.

One of my favorite experiences was at Ellison’s rooftop pool and bar. The breathtaking panoramic views of Oklahoma City’s skyline, visible from a mile away, made it an unforgettable adventure. Relaxing by the inviting pool, sipping on drinks from the bar, and watching the sunset against the cityscape was mesmerizing.

Dining at The Ellison’s Milo was an absolute delight. The restaurant, led by Executive Chef Josh Valentine, celebrates Oklahoma’s rich culinary heritage by incorporating milo sorghum, a local grain, into its dishes. From exquisite meals to unique beverages, Milo offers a soulful and innovative dining experience representing the state’s flavors and culture.

The Ellison made me feel right at home, whether in the city for work or leisure. Its blend of local charm, fantastic amenities like the rooftop pool, and the culinary journey at Milo made my stay incredibly enjoyable.

I immediately felt at ease and pampered during my stay at Bradford House. The guestrooms were a haven, offering sumptuous bathrobes lined with French terry and the most divine Bellino Fine Linens with a luxurious thread count percale cotton bedding. The cherry on top? Those fabulous 4K TVs and Apple TV devices that let me seamlessly continue my binge-watching spree.

I highly recommend opting for their room service; it’s just a button click away or a quick text message to the staff. The vibrant and colorful design of the rooms had this eclectic boutique hotel vibe, sparking conversations and admiration.

The living spaces were inviting—I worked and lounged there. And let’s not forget the open-air wraparound front porch; it was perfect for unwinding and taking in the surroundings.

The trendy bar was a standout! The variety of 108 guest rooms, from Deluxe King to Superior Corner King and Deluxe Double Queen, ensures something for everyone.

I chose the Deluxe King room, tailored perfectly for modern travelers. The amenities were on point – from the refreshing bath items to the top-notch mattresses dressed in beautiful linens. The attention to detail with the executive workstation and the availability of bottled water made the stay even more comfortable.

One of the highlights was the hotel’s restaurant. They pride themselves on using locally sourced ingredients to craft the most delightful and creative cuisine. The menu was diverse, offering everything from salads and steaks to sandwiches, seafood, and vegetarian options. I highly suggest choosing the breakfast option here for their gourmet morning buffets.

The bar/lounge area was another fantastic spot. They boasted an array of artisan cocktails, wines, and beers. It was a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both winding down with a drink or having a delightful meal. I found the small dishes and snacks to be just what I needed for a quick bite or a full dinner.

Moreover, the amenities didn’t disappoint. The 24-hour gym was a saviour for keeping up with workouts, and the free WiFi in public areas was incredibly convenient. The hotel’s commitment to providing a comprehensive experience stood out, offering conference spaces, concierge services, dry cleaning/laundry, and valuables protection.

The 24-hour business center and the computer station were additional perks that made my stay even more seamless. I highly recommend exploring the different suite options available for families or those here on business, especially the Colcord King Suite or the Presidential King Suite.

My personal favorite part? The ambiance of the bar/lounge area and the exquisite dishes served there made it a standout experience for me at The Colcord Hotel.

I stayed in the impressive 900-square-foot President suite, an absolute delight with its one-and-a-half bathrooms—an ideal haven for hosting gatherings or even as a luxurious wedding suite. The King and Queen guest rooms exude elegance with their high headboards and offer modern amenities such as smart TVs with casting options, USB charging points, and complimentary WiFi. These comforts harmonize seamlessly with the Art Deco architecture that defines this building’s charm.

What stood out was the thoughtful single-press elevator function, a brilliant touch that minimizes contact with surfaces, ensuring a safer and more hygienic experience.

Regarding dining, Teller and Great Hall bar are a true delight. The culinary journey here revolves around regional Italian cuisine, beautifully crafted using traditional cooking methods and seasonal ingredients. From the savory oven-charred Neapolitan pizzas to the delectable house-made pasta and succulent steaks prepared over a wood-burning grill, every dish was a flavor revelation. The bar also boasts an extensive selection of wines and cocktails, which I thoroughly enjoyed amidst the captivating ambiance of the old First National Bank gallery’s renovated teller booths.

Although The National doesn’t feature a spa or pool, they provide a well-equipped fitness facility, ensuring guests can maintain their fitness routines during their stay.

I highly suggest choosing The National for a touch of history coupled with contemporary comfort and culinary excellence. It’s a place where elegance meets heritage, leaving an indelible mark on anyone who visits.  The President suite was an absolute standout—its luxurious space and amenities made my stay unforgettable.

The conference rooms, totalling 76,000 square feet, were ideal for any event. The cutting-edge video conferencing tech and dedicated security team ensured seamless business gatherings, conferences, or board meetings. The sumptuous pillow-top mattresses ensured a restful sleep, and the lavish showers with high-end toiletries felt indulgent.

Exploring the room, I found a sleek flat-screen TV offering a range of premium channels for entertainment. The separate sitting room, wardrobe, and trendy coffeemaker added a touch of convenience and style. For larger groups or families, the availability of extra beds/rollaways and complimentary infant beds was a thoughtful gesture.

The bathrooms were stylishly modern and stocked with branded amenities, and I appreciated the inclusion of hairdryers and a generous 42-inch flat-screen TV with cable channels.

There were refrigerators, free cribs for families, and essential coffee/tea makers for added convenience. The hotel went above and beyond, offering dry cleaning services, a cozy lobby fireplace, and a 24-hour gym for those late-night workouts.

What truly stood out were the little luxuries—a pool area complete with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas, perfect for guests of all ages. ATM facilities, a 24-hour front desk, and complimentary newspapers added to the overall convenience.

Exploring nearby attractions like the Chesapeake Energy Arena, the Oklahoma City National Memorial, and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art was effortless, as they were either within walking distance or a short drive from the AC Hotel.

I highly suggest choosing the AC Hotel for a blend of comfort, style, and convenience. As for my favorite, the rooftop lounge stole the show’s mesmerizing views and ambiance, making it an unforgettable experience.

Each room boasted conveniences like air conditioning, plush towels, high-quality furnishings, and dedicated spaces for setting up my laptop.

Moreover, the rooms featured luxurious beds wrapped in cozy blankets, alongside uniquely styled bathrooms boasting partial openness and branded toiletries. The addition of hair dryers was a thoughtful touch. Entertainment-wise, the 55-inch smart TVs with streaming services, heaters, coffee/tea makers, and premium stations ensured a comfortable and entertaining stay.

The hotel’s modernity extended to its bar, a hub that magnetized guests and locals alike. Nestled within its cool ambience, I savored many specialty drinks and locally crafted beers, unwinding in its comfortable embrace. And the food scene? Just a stone’s throw away lay some of Oklahoma City’s finest dining establishments, promising delightful culinary adventures.

With its proximity to iFLY, Red Door Escape Room, Topgolf, and many other attractions, this stay was an all-encompassing experience.

What caught my eye were the bathrooms in every room, complete with indulgent jetted tubs and showers. Entertainment wasn’t lacking either; TVs, cable, and DVD players were at my disposal. I could either pick a movie from their collection or bring my favorites along.

Surprisingly, the hotel offered an onsite fax/copy service for small tasks and easy access to more extensive copy facilities nearby. What amazed me was the Butler’s Pantry on the second floor, available 24/7 with various treats, rendering vending machines redundant. Each evening, it’s stocked with delightful food, non-alcoholic beverages, and freshly baked desserts, adding a sweet touch to the stay.

Weekend mornings meant relishing a sumptuous cooked breakfast in the inviting first-floor dining area. However, for those seeking a touch of romance or a lazy start to the day, there’s an option to have breakfast served in-room for a small fee. During my visit to Oklahoma City, I found Tru By Hilton on NW Expressway an unexpectedly delightful option. Just 6.5 miles from White Water Bay, it’s a quirky yet charming spot that caught my attention.

What I loved most were the 86 rooms with sleek, modern décor. The bold and colorful atmosphere added an energetic vibe to the entire stay, making it quite a unique experience.

In terms of amenities, they had it all covered. The rooms boasted superior linen, air conditioning, and neat extras like complimentary WiFi and daily newspapers. The bathrooms were well-equipped with showers and complimentary amenities. Plus, entertainment-wise, the 55-inch flat-screen televisions with premium channels were a nice touch. Some rooms even had refrigerators, cribs/infant beds, and daily cleaning service.

The highlight, though, was the complimentary breakfast buffet. I highly suggest this option when booking; it’s a fantastic way to start the day. Additionally, they have a grocery/convenience shop and offer dry cleaning/laundry facilities.

Throughout my stay, I thoroughly used the complimentary in-room WiFi and took advantage of their gym and 24-hour business center. Oh, and don’t miss the seasonally open outdoor pool—it’s quite a nice-looking spot to unwind.

The staff stood out here—friendly, multilingual, and available 24/7 at the front desk. They even had a front-desk safe, elevators for convenience, and provided coffee/tea in the lobby. Baggage storage was a plus, too.

Overall, it’s a very affordable and clean hotel, perfect for a short stay in the city. If you’re looking for a lively and unconventional spot that doesn’t compromise on comfort, Tru By Hilton on NW Expressway is a solid choice.

As for a personal favorite, I particularly enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere in the rooms. It added a unique touch to the stay that I found quite refreshing!

During my stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Oklahoma City Northwest, I found the location along the Northwest Expressway genuinely convenient. What stood out were the spacious two-room suites – a highlight of this place. Having a separate living room and bedroom provided ample space to unwind and get a good night’s rest.

Upon booking, I highly suggest choosing the breakfast option because the complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast was a splendid way to kickstart each day. It caters to various tastes and dietary needs, ensuring everyone finds something delightful. The evening reception was a gem too; sipping on complimentary beverages while mingling with fellow guests made for a lovely time.

Dining at the on-site restaurant was a treat. The variety of cuisines offered satisfied my cravings, whether I wanted a full dinner or a quick bite. The indoor pool and well-equipped fitness facility were perfect for unwinding or sticking to my workout routine during my visit.

The hotel’s location in downtown Oklahoma City made exploring the city super convenient. It’s close to renowned attractions, dining spots, and shopping districts, catering to business and leisure travelers. And don’t miss out on joining the Hilton Honors program; the perks and rewards for members are worth it!

My personal favorite had to be the evening reception; it was such a fantastic way to wind down after a day of exploring.
