With its over-the-top energy and anything-goes attitude, I found out from my many trips that Las Vegas is also home to some of the world’s most unforgettable hotels. From fun vintage kitsch to jaw-dropping modern design, here are my favorite unique and incredible places to stay in Sin City…
1. The LINQ Hotel

My favorite highlights…
- Trying a refreshing Big Dog’s Las Vegas Lager from the awesome automated self-serve beer wall!
2. Virgin Hotel Curio Collection by Hilton
This was one of the few major Vegas resorts with no resort fees, and I loved how it stood out with that bold Virgin style, superb dining, and a lively off-Strip vibe (plus Hilton perks!). From the moment I walked in, the decor hit with a punch — sleek modern lines, funky red accents, witty wall art, and Mad Men–style furnishings gave it Virgin’s signature swagger.
My room was smart and chic with a dressing area, custom Virgin bed, walk-in rainfall shower, and intuitive tech I could control from my phone, but my favorite detail was the bold red SMEG mini-fridge — fully stocked and refreshingly fair-priced.
I cooled off in the party-ready pool complex, lounged on daybeds, caught live sets at the on-site music venue, and treated myself to both spa time and a mix of gourmet and grab-and-go eats. With its sports bar, casino, and even a hairdresser, it had everything — all tucked just off the Strip on Paradise Road in a more local, less neon setting.

- I loved the breezy, boho vibe at Kassi Beach House – the silky whipped eggplant mezze and the frozen, fruity Suptropic Slushies were both stand outs for me!
3. The Lexi

My favorite highlights…
- Joining the fun “Sip and Sing” karaoke and cocktail night which took place every Sunday night – I downed a potent Sin City Sling cocktail and sang “Waking Up in Vegas” by Katy Perry!
4. Vdara Hotel and Spa
Just a block from the Strip in the slick CityCenter complex, this hotel skips the casino and goes all-in on entertainment — and from my stay, it totally nailed it. With chic minimalist design — soft hues, crisp lines, and sun-drenched windows — it had an effortlessly elegant, spa-like feel that balanced upscale style with wellness-driven calm.
My spacious suite came with a kitchenette, dining and lounge area, king-size bed, spa-style bathroom, and floor-to-ceiling windows framing breathtaking mountain views — I especially loved soaking in the deep tub right beside them.
I pampered myself at the award-winning ESPA spa, lounged by the rooftop pool, booked an in-suite massage, sipped cocktails on the chic Vice Versa patio, and even appreciated the 24/7 dog park for my pup — all with direct access to ARIA and Bellagio.

My personal highlights…
- I loved all the wellness touches—especially starting each morning with a Turmeric Love cold-pressed juice (pineapple, turmeric, aloe vera) and a detoxifying chlorophyll shot from their onsite Pressed Juicery Juice Bar!
5. ARIA Resort and Casino
I found this sleek, high-tech luxury resort on the Strip to be a real standout — its LEED Gold-certified eco-design, smart in-room automation, and striking modern style made it feel both cutting-edge and consciously cool.
Inside, soaring architecture, warmly lit wood-accented spaces, and dramatic art installations gave it a polished, cosmopolitan vibe. My spacious room had floor-to-ceiling windows, a plush custom king bed, spa-style bathroom, and intuitive controls, but what wowed me most was the futuristic welcome — the curtains opened, lights dimmed, and my name flashed on the TV the moment I walked in.
I recharged at the serene spa, dined on gourmet meals without leaving the resort, and lounged on the art-lined pool deck with trendy cabanas — all perfectly placed in CityCenter, right at the core of the Strip’s world-class dining and hotels.

My highlights…
- I loved all the fine art and impressive sculptures on display – especially the striking abstract bronze piece Reclining Connected Forms by British artist Henry Moore, which greeted me right outside the entrance!
6. Crockfords
When I stayed at Crockfords, the ultra-luxury all-suite hotel inside Resorts World, it felt truly exclusive — from the private entrance and seamless check-in lounge to round-the-clock butler service and access to all of Resorts World’s upscale amenities. The interiors blended modern luxury with timeless elegance, with marble finishes, soft neutral tones, rich textures, and curated art creating a serene, discreet atmosphere.
My suite was high-end perfection with a dreamy king bed, gleaming marble bath and soaking tub, smart controls, and a clever mirror TV that stole the show.
I loved being able to relax poolside in total peace, knowing I had a butler on call, and still being just steps from the resort’s world-class dining and entertainment.

My personal highlights…
- I loved being able to customize the scent and sound in my guest room – I opted for exotic smelling sandalwood and the ocean waves soundscapes to wake up to each morning!
7. The Cromwell
I couldn’t leave this one off — an adults-only boutique gem on the Strip with Parisian flair, a more intimate layout, and the legendary Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub keeping the energy high after dark. It struck a perfect balance between old-world elegance and bold Vegas style, with plush leathers, moody woods, wine-red tones, and statement flooring creating an upscale, sultry atmosphere.
My room blended classic and current touches with hardwood floors, elegant vintage decor, smart controls, and a dreamy pillow-top king bed — and yes, the mirror above the bed made a memorable impression.
I partied under the stars at Drai’s rooftop Beachclub with sweeping Strip views, dined on handmade pasta at Giada’s chic Italian hotspot, browsed the curated gift shop, and enjoyed flawless concierge-style service — everything felt effortlessly elevated.

My favorite highlights…
- Listening to DJ Pauly D, gazing at the skyline views and sipping on a heavenly Desert Bloom Martini at Drai’s Nightclub and Beach Club on the rooftop.
8. Conrad Las Vegas At Resorts World
This one stood out for all the right reasons — the world’s first AI-powered aparthotel, blending high-tech living, full kitchens, and a no-resort-fee policy in a prime spot near the Strip. It had a crisp, futuristic vibe with minimalist design, built-in smart tech, and the feel of a sleek modern apartment block — I loved how forward-thinking and streamlined it all felt.
My suite combined apartment-style comfort with a full kitchen, open living and sleeping areas, modern finishes, and standout AI-powered room controls that made the stay feel truly next-gen.
I met fellow travelers in the co-working lounge, tried out the keyless app entry and voice-controlled features, and was impressed by the self-serve gourmet market — all while being just minutes from the Strip with the bonus of calm, residential-style comfort and onsite parking.
My personal highlights
10. The ENGLiSH Hotel
I couldn’t leave out this sleek, adults-only boutique hotel in the heart of the Arts District — just minutes from the Strip but with a distinctly cooler, more intimate vibe. Its edgy design with moody lighting, rich textures, and striking contemporary art fit perfectly into the neighborhood’s creative spirit, making it ideal for travelers who prefer style over chaos.
My room felt cozy yet curated with a sumptuous king bed, modern furnishings, local art, and a bold glass-walled shower that stole the show.
I dined at Todd English’s Pepper Club, where every dish felt like a work of art, sipped cocktails by the stylish pool, and loved exploring the Arts District’s colorful murals, indie boutiques, and galleries just steps away.

My highlights…
- I went for their famous brunch on the chic Pepper Club patio, ordering the hearty Sunshine Breakfast Sandwich and their legendary, crispy truffle fries which came with a heavenly truffle togarashi aioli dip!
11. Circa Resort & Casino
I found out this was the only adults-only resort in Downtown Vegas — and it delivered with the world’s largest sportsbook and the epic Stadium Swim rooftop pool, where massive LED screens kept the party going day and night. The vibe was a bold mix of modern luxury and vintage Vegas glam, with gold accents, retro-inspired artwork, and sleek finishes nodding to the city’s golden era — unapologetically high-energy and grown-up.
My room had floor-to-ceiling windows, a comfy king bed, spa-like bathroom, and mood lighting, but my favorite touch was the retro-style mini fridge stocked with vintage sodas and classic cocktails — such a fun surprise.
I’ll never forget floating at Stadium Swim while watching live games on towering screens, grabbing drinks under the glowing neon cowgirl at Vegas Vickie’s, and soaking in skyline views from the ultra-glam Legacy Club on buzzing Fremont Street.

- Watching the sharp-tongued comedian at Vinnie Favorito perform at their legendary Donny & Marie Osmond Venue which was filled with memorabilia , including original Donny & Marie costumes, gold records, and retro show posters!
13. The Bellagio
This legendary Strip resort had to make the list — with its timeless Italian elegance, iconic fountain shows, fine dining, art, and a glamorous casino, it’s upscale Vegas at its finest. From marble floors and sparkling chandeliers to classical paintings on the walls, it oozed Italian-inspired luxury that felt regal and beautifully timeless.
My room was sleek and comfortable with a dreamy king bed, marble bathroom, and smart tech, but what truly wowed me was soaking in the tub while watching the Bellagio Fountains dance right outside my window.
I dined on fine Italian at Lago with fountain views, admired the breathtaking floral installations in the Conservatory, and even browsed original Picasso works just steps from my suite.

My personal highlights…
- I loved window shopping at all the onsite high-end boutiques especially the stylish Italian jewelry at BVLGARI and the chic designer swimwear at Capri.
14. The Luxor
Staying here felt like stepping into a Hollywood take on ancient Egypt — from the giant Sphinx out front to the themed interiors and those famously slanted elevators. It was budget-friendly, full of character, and gloriously over-the-top.
My room had a comfy king bed, flat-screen TV, and subtle Egyptian touches, but what really stood out were the slanted walls and windows that created a gravity-defying, super photogenic vibe inside the pyramid.
Riding the iconic inclinators up the pyramid walls was an experience in itself, and I loved wandering the massive atrium lined with Egyptian statues before capping the night with drinks and live entertainment. Best of all, its Strip location meant easy access to Mandalay Bay, the airport, and a free tram to nearby resorts.

My favorite highlights…
- The fine Italian cuisine – I especially loved the rich, traditional Eggplant Parmigiana and the freshly baked focaccia and tangy olive sourdough at BRERA Osteria, served warm with herb-infused olive oil!
Unbelievable! Really some of the best hotels to stay in LV. I am totally speechless and can’t express it in words. They are really some of the best hotels I have ever seen in my life. Stratosphere Hotel – for the thrill seekers, Aliante Casino + Hotel – for glitz, fun and pampering, The Luxor – Egyptian magic, these are the hotels I like the most. Others are also the best and just marvellous!
I so love the Venetian Resort. It seems that you don’t need to go to Italy in person and experience it there. It is such a brilliant idea that they made it and it is perfect place for romantic couple. Looking forward to be there.
The “kitsch capital of the World” has a bunch of weird hotels, indeed. The Luxor is the weirdest to me.
My 17 year old son plays basketball, and would be over moon if he could spend a night in that room. We are planning to take a family trip to Vegas, and that just might be the room!
the Kuxe and the venice looks super cool. These hotels amaze me!
Definitely interested in staying at those boutique hotels! I never knew those existed in Vegas! Thanks for sharing.
Happy travels 🙂
Thanks Lauren, yes Vegas can be surprising!
I’d have to go for The Hardwood Suite. I’m not even a basketball fan but just for the novelty.
I went to Vegas when I was a kid but stayed at a Holiday Inn which wasn’t quite as exciting.
Thanks Adam, you’ll have to go back one day and stay in one of the crazy hotels, they’re definitely an experience! 🙂
I love the buffet at the Bellagio and The Venetian is actually my dream hotel. NY, NY also makes for a great stay – it’s amazing how closely they replicated the streets of NYC in that hotel!
Yes amazing attention to detail, no expense spared! 🙂
I’ve only been to Las Vegas once and have to agree that the hotels are quite a sight.
I stayed in The Luxor and it is a truly unique hotel and a great experience.
I’m amazed at the variation in the prices you’ve quoted. However it is good to see that some are very cheap again. Of course the money is not made from hotel room hires 😉
Oh wow the hotels in Vegas look incredible, I’ve never been but if I do I’ll definitely be staying at one of these! Great list!
Thanks Emma it was a lot of fun choosing them!
As a sports fan I would have to opt for the Hardwood suites! 😉
… and probably most expensive. The Luxor looks great. How much would be for a single room, do you know :)?
Hey Agness, I’ve added the prices on now 🙂 You’d be surprised, if you go during the week the prices for some of these hotels can be very reasonable.
I used to travel to Vegas every other weekend when my (ex) wife lived there working for the airlines. We had a ton of fun but wowee has it changed, Becky! If I get down there again I would love to go to the Nobu Restaurant. And the Hardwood Suite? Yes, please! I’m a basketball fan so I would drive a date nuts playing hoops in the bedroom. I think that came out right? Ha, ha 🙂
Ha ha thanks Mike, that suite looks like a lot of fun 🙂
