One of my favorite places, the Magnolia in lively downtown Omaha, instantly caught my eye. The chic boutique hotel mirrors Florence’s unique Bargello palace, residing in a restored 1920s gem.

While visiting, I immersed myself in the Magnolia Hotel’s blend of class and sophistication. The 125 upscale rooms and 20 lavish suites, adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows and private entrances, provided a home away from home. The rock star legacy added a stylish touch to my stay.

Staying at the Magnolia, I experienced the allure of The District, the onsite bar and restaurant. Crafted cocktails, delectable cuisine, and live music created an inviting atmosphere. After exploring, I loved socializing here or hitting the state-of-the-art 24-hour fitness center to keep my energy up. With the hotel’s central location, a free shuttle bus service made it a breeze to navigate the vibrant surroundings. Whether for business or leisure, the Magnolia Hotel Omaha truly catered to every aspect of my stay.

While visiting, I discovered the unique rooftop bar, The Take-Off. Sipping on a specialty cocktail, I enjoyed breathtaking views of the city. The Habitat Restaurant and Bar, with its stylish furnishing, offered mouth-watering modern American cuisine and house-smoked whiskey in an intimate atmosphere.

The Peregrine isn’t just a hotel; it’s a gateway to unforgettable experiences. During my stay, I had access to pet-friendly rooms, a fitness center, and free Wi-Fi. Surrounded by activities and must-see attractions, it’s an ideal retreat.

Staying here as a member of the Hilton Honors collection had its perks. I could choose my exact room, earn points for free nights, and even partake in unique experiences. The Peregrine goes beyond hospitality; it’s a personalized journey in the heart of Omaha.

Situated in the hip Blackstone District, this chic hotel is conveniently close to the Joslyn Art Museum and Old Market neighborhood. I enjoyed the proximity to these cultural gems. While staying at the place, I appreciated the three on-site restaurants, ensuring I could retreat to the comfort of the hotel after a busy day without needing to leave again. I love this newly opened Tru by Hilton Hotel. The vibrant colors and fantastic design create such an inviting and fun atmosphere. While staying at this place, I enjoyed exploring the city and found it perfect for both leisure and business purposes. It’s even pet-friendly, which is a big plus for me.

I experienced fantastic on-site amenities, including an all-year-round heated indoor pool, a beautiful outdoor terrace perfect for socializing and catching the sunset, a fitness center, and a 24-hour market for grabbing snacks and drinks. Waking up to a complimentary hot breakfast with delicious breakfast bowls and frittatas was a great way to start the day. The lobby also had tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available all day, which I absolutely loved.

The location is convenient, with local attractions just a short 10-minute drive away and easy access to I-80. Aksarben Village, Fun-Plex Waterpark & Rides, the College of Saint Mary, Ralston Arena, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and plenty of shopping are all within reach. For business travelers like myself, Tru provides work pods, fast wifi, and wireless printers, making it easy to stay focused and get work done before unwinding in the comforts of the hotel. It’s genuinely one of my favorite places to stay.

If you’re after an unforgettable weekend, Downtown Omaha Oasis is a must-stay. This luxury villa in the city’s heart quickly became one of my favorite places for a big group or family vacation. Covering 4,000 square feet indoors and over 6,000 square feet on the rooftop, it accommodates up to 21 people in 7 bedrooms. The prime location adds to the allure, making it one of my top choices.

The beautifully planned garden, complete with a gazebo and firepits, added a charming touch. The quirky rail car ramping up the atmosphere was a unique feature. The rooftop terrace surprised me with a speakeasy-style bar, a relaxing hot tub, a badminton area, a putting green, and, yes, palm trees! Inside, the entertainment and gaming room stole the show with TVs, an arcade machine, and a movie theater boasting an ornate private balcony. The two full kitchens ensured we had everything we needed, making it hard to leave.

The warm decor instantly made me feel at home. The architectural details, like fireplaces and fanlights, added that extra touch of luxury. Venturing outside with my guests was a delight. The Old Town, within walking distance, offered the famous Hollywood Candy Store and other hip attractions, including breweries and restaurants.

Surrounded by must-visit places like Joslyn Sculpture Park, UNMC Ice Rink, and Energy Plaza, the hotel even provides complimentary bicycles, adding convenience to exploring the area.

Staying at this eco-friendly haven, I experienced their commitment to reducing, reusing, and recycling, evident in their sustainable services and practices. The interior exudes a sleek, bright, and stylish vibe, giving me that coveted home away from home feel. Element is renowned for embodying urban living at its best.

Situated in the North Downtown axis of the Old Market district, exploring the area was a breeze. No map is needed – just step out of the hotel, and you’re surrounded by famous attractions, entertainment, and restaurants. What’s more, the complimentary bicycles provided by the hotel made it easy to see everything. The hotel’s décor resonated with me, offering a bright, funky, yet tasteful vibe. With a nod to the prohibition era, the craftsmanship of textural features from the past blended seamlessly with modern-day elements, giving the hotel a distinct character.

During my stay, I enjoyed trying out the newly opened speakeasy bar, where expertly crafted cocktails elevated the experience. The industrial-chic fitness center added to the appeal. The hotel, dubbed “Different by Design,” embraces an ethos that brings people together in a fun and high-tech environment, creating a vibrant urban atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of Omaha, it’s not only an ideal spot for relaxation but also perfect for those looking to add a bit of excitement to their stay, being within walking distance of the city’s entertainment and business hotspots.

During my visit, I marveled at its strategic location, just two miles from Interstate 80 and a mere 5 miles from both the Joslyn Art Museum and Lauritzen Gardens, with a residential quarter right across. What stood out were the hip amenities that truly set this hotel apart. From bicycle rentals to live music, a games room, and billiards, Aloft Omaha Aksarben Village boldly claims its position as one of the best places to stay.

The indoor pool became my go-to spot for a refreshing swim, and the trendy bar was perfect for unwinding with a drink. Each morning, I looked forward to indulging in a delicious American breakfast. The attention to detail and diverse offerings made it impossible not to fall in love with this place.

Staying at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District was an unforgettable experience. It quickly became one of my favorite places, offering the best the city has to offer. The sleek and chic design, coupled with its fabulous riverfront location, creates an atmosphere that I love.

This award-winning 4-star hotel is strategically located, putting me just moments away from Omaha’s top attractions like Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Park and First National Plaza. The 333 rooms boast sophisticated interior decor, and the plush linens provided ensure a comfortable recharge for the next day’s adventures. I particularly enjoyed catching up on the latest movies and TV series on the flat-screen TVs in each spacious room.

After a day of exploration, the rooftop pool became my go-to relaxing spot, offering stunning views overlooking the city. The on-site restaurant, coffee shop, and bar made it convenient for me to unwind without leaving the hotel in the evening.
