While visiting, the trendy vibe of the lobby and common area, adorned with white oak wood and exposed brickwork, made a lasting impression. The minimalist bedrooms offered a naturally soothing retreat.
During my stay, I explored the Provisions Market mini-store, discovering locally sourced, organic products. I also tried the state-of-the-art fitness center and enjoyed a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool. What sets this place apart is its dedication to sustainability. SCP Hotel utilizes regionally sourced materials and proudly supports local businesses, schools, and cultures. I was delighted to learn that they plant a tree for each guest, contributing to environmental conservation.

Staying at Kinship Landing in Colorado Springs felt like discovering one of my favorite places, where nature meets modern luxury. The wooden-paneled rooms, adorned with local art, catered perfectly to travelers’ needs. While visiting this incredible resort, I woke up surrounded by the crisp white sheets of my tastefully decorated room. The views from my private balcony were simply stunning, featuring the majestic Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and Rocky Mountain. Choosing from various accommodation options, I stayed in a cozy suite in the lodge, enjoying the luxury and comfort. The resort also offers cottages with hot tubs enclosed by privacy walls and individual casitas near calming water features.
My focus on wellness was met with a century-old commitment at the Garden of the Gods Club & Resort’s luxury spa. There, I indulged in various treatments, from acupuncture to chiropractic services, and healing experiences that left me rejuvenated. Sports enthusiasts would love the on-site facilities, including tennis courts, a golf course, and a refreshing pool. The indoor and outdoor spaces hosted diverse events, but weddings, with their spectacular scenery, were a specialty.

While staying at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, one of my favorite places, I love the simplicity and chic ambiance, complemented by modern amenities and breathtaking views. Easily accessible from Colorado Springs Airport, it’s the perfect base to explore Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods Park.
During my visit, I tried the golf course, enjoyed the private lake, and played tennis amidst stunning surroundings. The Olympic-size pool and kids pool added to the recreational options, while the state-of-the-art fitness center catered to my wellness needs.
For a leisurely pace, I indulged in the full-on pampering at the Alluvia Spa and Wellness Retreat. The dining experience was exquisite, offering gourmet three-course meals and craft cocktails. Grabbing a sandwich or coffee was equally delightful if I wanted something quick. The resort’s fully equipped business center and expert planners proved invaluable for celebrations and meetings, including planning picturesque weddings. This place truly offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

While visiting downtown Colorado, I discovered one of my favorite places – The Mining Exchange. This beautifully restored building, once a stock exchange for local mining companies, now captivates guests with its exceptional accommodations and event spaces. Upon entering, I fell in love with the sophisticated yet relaxed lobby. Ornate pillars, Italian marble, an antique baby grand, and a touch of the roaring 20s set the perfect ambiance. The elegance continued in my room, featuring contemporary design, oversized windows, high ceilings, exposed brick, custom artwork, and a top-notch audio system.
During my stay, I couldn’t resist trying signature cocktails at the lobby bar, enjoying the drinks and the cool street views. The on-site restaurant added to the charm with its New Orleans vibe, serving up Cajun and Creole classics alongside local favorites. The versatile event spaces truly impressed me – seven unique rooms, some with private terraces, making it an ideal venue for weddings, conferences, and meetings.

Nestled near downtown Colorado Springs, The St. Mary’s Inn is now one of my favorite places for a cozy bed and breakfast experience. A proud Hall of Fame Member with Trip Advisor’s “Certificate of Excellence,” it’s truly a gem.
During my stay at this 1896 Victorian mansion, I loved the unique charm of the nine beautifully decorated suites. They seamlessly blend home comforts with elegant style, featuring hot tubs, walk-in showers, and kitchenettes with distinct offerings.
Exploring the historically themed shared areas, I truly felt a home-from-home atmosphere. The freshly prepared, cooked breakfast, served family dining style, was a delightful touch. The Lodge at Flying Horse, a AAA 2021 Four Diamond gem, quickly became one of my favorite places. From the moment I arrived, the resort’s commitment to a personal touch was evident. The sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere felt like a warm welcome.
My room was a haven of country club-style luxury. Rich colors, warm woods, plush fabrics, and a private balcony made the retreat worth savoring. The villas were a revelation for those seeking even more – private terraces, fireplaces, walk-in closets, and jetted bathtubs ensured an indulgent stay.
The array of amenities was staggering. Three pools, private hiking trails, tennis courts, a golf course, and a top-notch fitness center catered to every whim. And when it was time to unwind, the spa beckoned with its relaxing therapies and calming treatments.
The dining options were as impressive as the rest. The Athletic Club, Grill, and The Steakhouse became my go-to spots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, each meal a culinary delight. My time at The Lodge at Flying Horse was a true experience, where I tried, tasted, and relished every moment.

While visiting the award-winning Holden House in Colorado Springs, I found a true Victorian gem nestled on a quaint, tree-lined street just a stroll away from downtown. Built in 1902 and meticulously restored in 1985, this family-owned B&B captivated me with its colonial revival charm. Staying at Holden House felt like stepping back in time with its six individually decorated suites. Each one boasted its unique character, complete with a private bath, a comforting fireplace, and a queen or king-sized bed.
I love this place for the personalized touches it offers. I tried one of their special packages during my stay and opted for an in-room massage. The experience was truly indulgent, adding a layer of relaxation to my visit. They also cater to various occasions, allowing you to request breakfast served right to your room or even arrange for flowers upon arrival.

Just minutes from the I-25, I found myself at the Chateau du Pikes Peak, a grand Tuscan-style villa. The breathtaking Pikes Peak stood proudly in the background, treating me to stunning sunrise views of nature’s dramatic beauty.
My stay at this enchanting place included two plush suites, each with its entrance. I loved the shared fireside reading area, a cozy projection theatre, a convenient wet bar, and inviting outdoor patio seating.
Exploring nearby, I had the pleasure of choosing from various restaurants. From local cuisine to fine dining, there was something to satisfy every craving during my visit. This experience was truly one of my favorite stays.

I love this unique motor lodge motel, owned by a family of passionate cyclists. While visiting, I stayed in one of the modern, airy rooms, suites, and cottages on their 4-acre private land. Each accommodation was tastefully bicycle-themed, adorned with quirky art pieces and furniture.
While staying at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, I experienced it as the ideal base camp for avid cyclists. It’s perfectly situated for exploring the miles of trails at the base of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods Park. The proximity to popular hiking and biking spots like Red Rock Canyon Open Space, North Cheyenne Cañon, and Rampart Range made my stay even more exciting.
The weekly rides and calendar of events ensured there was always something happening. I love this touch of community and shared passion. To kickstart my day, I tried the continental buffet breakfast, a delightful way to fuel up before hitting the trails. And after a day of cycling adventures, the outdoor pool became my go-to spot for recovery and rejuvenation. The whole experience at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort was nothing short of fantastic.

Peak Valley Manor quickly became one of my favorite places in the tranquil Black Forest neighborhood of northern Colorado Springs. The two private suites boast contemporary Western farmhouse chic decor, providing an aesthetic treat complemented by breathtaking views of Pikes Peak and the Rockies.
While visiting, I explored the Front Range area, indulging in activities like hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and skiing during the day. Evenings were equally enchanting; I cherished moments by the fireplace, unwinding in the bar/lounge, or enjoying a film in the cozy projection room.
My suite felt like a personal haven, with its fridge, microwave, and exceptionally comfortable beds. The outdoor spaces offered serenity, including a terrace and garden with firepits and a soothing waterfall. I loved spending mornings there, especially when a delightful home-cooked breakfast was served upon request.
The secluded charm of Peak Valley Manor didn’t mean isolation; it’s just a short drive from I-25, connecting me swiftly to Colorado Springs, Denver, Manitou Springs, and Old Colorado City. The convenience and the beauty of the surroundings made my stay truly memorable.

Sonesta ES Suites
One of my favorite places to stay is Sonesta ES Suites, just a short drive from the breathtaking Garden of the Gods and the Rockies. The studio and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens, free wifi, and cable TV felt like a home away from home.
While staying at this cozy retreat, I loved the bright decor and the gas fireplaces in the living area. Each morning, I enjoyed the convenience of coffee and breakfast bags. The shared barbecue facilities added a delightful touch to my stay. During my visit, I experienced the convenience of a business center and shared workspace. The fitness center was a great spot to stay active, and the seasonal outdoor pool offered a spectacular view of Pikes Peak.
Exploring the area, I found several dining options within walking distance. Sonesta ES Suites truly made my visit to the Rockies memorable, and I can’t wait to return.
