Margaritaville Island Hotel is one of my favorite places, enchanting me with its island-themed interiors, heartwarming Appalachian traditions, and welcoming hospitality.

While staying at this laidback venue, I love the extended vacations, relishing home-like comforts paired with indulgent resort amenities. The guest rooms, aesthetically crafted, boast serene color palettes, beautifully crafted furniture, cozy lounging spaces, and luxurious bathrooms.

I experienced pure island-style relaxation at the onsite St. Somewhere Spa, indulging in a variety of massages and therapies that transported me to a tropical paradise.

The Margaritaville Restaurant, conveniently located next to the hotel, became a cherished spot for me. Combining a refined dining space with a live performance stage, it provided entertaining feasts after a day of sightseeing.

Staying at the Christmas Place was a magical experience, especially in the Christmas-themed Santa Suite. The room’s cheerful holiday décor and quirky fixtures added an extra layer of joy to my stay.

I experienced the true meaning of Southern hospitality. The homely inn treated me to decadent homemade desserts and country-style breakfasts that were nothing short of indulgent.

For those seeking opulence and seclusion, I opted for one of the five country cottages. These rustic havens combined farmhouse-style architecture with exquisitely carved fireplaces and a luxurious Jacuzzi, providing the perfect escape into tranquility.

With 206 guest rooms to choose from, including two-bedroom executive suites, fireplace suites, and Jacuzzi suites, I love the variety of accommodations Ramsey offers. The oversized lobby became a favorite spot of mine, serving as a welcoming and unpretentious mingling space.

I tried out the expansive 24-hour heated waterfall pool located indoors. It quickly became a go-to spot for socializing, and I enjoyed every moment there. For a family-friendly experience, the hot tub was a hit, providing a large enough space for blissful moments with the kids.

One of the highlights was the outdoor movie sessions for children on the enormous outdoor movie screen, complemented by a comfortably furnished patio.

I found the fully equipped kitchen to be a real treat, allowing me to indulge my culinary whims. The living room, adorned with bold and vibrant colors, felt like an art masterpiece itself. The inviting sofas beckoned me to relax, especially the queen-size sofa bed by the ornate fireplace.

I love this eclectic space for its modern furniture, smart appliances, and the luxurious comfort of the bedding. When not out exploring nature trails or wildflower meadows, I enjoyed snuggling on the sofa bed, tuning into my favorite TV shows, and soaking up the warmth of the onsite hot tub.
